CoolSculpting to Kill Fat

Muffins and rolls. They sound like tasty treats, right? But when it comes to a woman’s appearance, they are the last things we want to hear about! Sadly, many of us have had the terms “muffin tops” and “rolls” used to describe our figures. Maybe it’s because some of us are eating too many of those pastries! And then again, perhaps these terms are simply just adequate ways of describing the unfit.

This is especially a problem for women who feel that their excess flab (oh, it hurts to admit it!) is accentuated by tight fitting undergarments that force the extra body mass to protrude. And that’s putting it nicely! Also known as a “bra bulge”, that annoying back fat is a real thorn in the side of many ladies – so to speak.

I caught a clip from the “Dr. Oz” show recently that highlighted this often uncomfortable-to-talk-about phenomena. As the clip described, many women are self-conscious about their figures, so they attempt workouts and better dietary habits to manage the issue.

These healthful practices, however, don’t always provide a solution to the problem. Not immediately anyway. Thankfully, the “Dr. Oz” clip also provided some insight on what else we women can do about eliminating those dreaded “muffin tops” and “rolls”. First of all, many women wear inappropriate bra sizes that don’t particularly help the back fat problem. But there’s a cool solution to this annoyance!

Dr. Oz introduces a pretty cool process called “CoolSculpting™”.This is an awesome procedure that eliminates back fat, love handles and muffin tops without any surgical incisions, anesthesia, needles or injections! An incredible alternative to liposuction, CoolSculpting™ definitely seems like the future of fat-busting!

So what exactly does CoolSculpting™ do? Firstly, a gel sheet is applied to the problem body area. Like the name of the procedure implies, it’s a bit “cool” to the touch. A suction device is then applied to the area to cool down the unwanted fat. The cooling sensation breaks down the fat cells allowing for the body to naturally cleanse itself of them.

The process essentially freezes the fat cells without harming any other tissues or skin. It truly is a cool procedure! The woman in the “Dr. Oz” clip explained that it was “comfortable” and was feeling no pain during her televised procedure. The doctor performing the technique explained that the fat gets metabolized, so continued exercise and healthy eating is still naturally recommended to assist with the breaking down of the fat.

One of the best things about CoolSculpting™ is that once the procedure complete, patients can return to their normal schedule. No anesthesia, no incisions and no need to worry about downtime! If you think CoolSculpting™ may be for you, then don’t hesitate to contact a dermatologist today!
